Cherry Tree Dental is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Recruitment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, attracting, and engaging top talent, while coordinating interview logistics to ensure a smooth and professional candidate experience. Your primary responsibility will include sourcing candidates through multiple channels, managing applicant pipelines, and partnering with hiring managers to schedule and support the interview process.
Headquartered in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin, Cherry Tree Dental partners with our dental practices to support dentists and team members so they can focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
**This role is a hybrid role (on-site and remote), as it will require occasional travel to Cherry Tree Dental clinical sites, work locations, and schools, therefore candidates should be within a reasonable distance of Madison, WI.**
What You'll Do:
As a Dental Recruitment Specialist you will focus on candidate sourcing and interview coordination, playing a critical role in hiring top clinical and non-clinical dental professionals. This includes:
- Proactively source qualified candidates using various platforms including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, referrals, and other creative sourcing strategies.
- Review resumes and applications to identify fit based on job requirements.
- Screen candidates through phone and video interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Maintain and update candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensure timely communication and a seamless process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand open positions, candidate profiles, and staffing priorities.
- Assist with job posting and marketing strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Track sourcing metrics and provide regular reports on recruitment activities.
- When appropriate, work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
- Support recruitment events, career fairs, or employer branding initiatives as needed.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Education and relative work experience can be considered in lieu of associate degree.
- Two years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or similar HR role.
- 2+ years dental recruiting experience preferred.
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software or other recruitment systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel for work, up to 25 percent, including out of town and overnight, for various meetings or professional development opportunities.
